No where near as much snow as predicted. Looks like around 2” .

 

Another reason not to buy that cheap Chinese import crawfish (Thibodaux brand). They don’t pack with da fat. Sadly the cost difference is $6.50 vs $18 for USA production. For clarification, Crawfish goes for $2-9 a pound. MOST of that is shell weight. So you can quickly see why it costs what it does. Ya know that Chinese price is because they factory farm them (tanks) and cheap labor to unshell/wash. Here, they put them right out front and I sadly have to educate folks that Thibodaux ain’t Cajun.

If you’re ever curious on things, both the State (Louisiana) and Certified Cajun have their own “Seal” that manufacturers are happy to use… if they ain’t from New York City!

 

Waaaaay better, they taste like something. You gotta want to eat them. That’s how we tell folks apart. There are peelers and ‘eaters’. The eaters are just too dainty… (think @StayinStock)

one nice thing to say about the SuperBowel… the parade yesterday PAID a lot of people that traditionally don’t get paid. They do it for love. The MardiGras Indians, The School Bands, the 610 Stompers, etc. One curious thing was - They used Tundras to pull the floats instead of tractors due to the Toyota sponsorship. I’m gonna bet we’re gonna have quite a few Toyota ‘promotional’ vehicles available in a month… Much like Lexus/Infinity/Buick/GMC for the golf tournaments…
