I like those last two… except for the front engine. A rear/mid engine is always the answer…

 

Here’s a funny one for you. 19th annual collectors convention. Don’t know who’s job it was but these all came with the motor in backwards. Last pic of how it should be.

 

Looking at it again, hard to tell from the photo but is the skyline the chase? If so that’s like a $50 car.

 

You asking the man who doesn’t notice or even understand that stuff? It looks like the picture on the card.

 

Rear engine in a real bug yes but I’m ok with the custom hot wheels. These were remakes of the original sweet sixteen.

 

That’s hilarious, I love “mistakes”. Which is why I don’t understand Chases/SuperChases/TreasureHunts/SuperTreasureChests…

 

lol no worries, I just know some folks are into it and someone might chime in for you to snag it for them if I was right. Only reason I even noticed it was i was at a dealer booth yesterday and he had one marked as a chase, 1 of 750 I think it said, of that car, looked like it.

 

I’ll snag it for whomever wants it… whatever the shelf price is.

 

The 28th collectors convention car also had the motor in backwards. I don’t know of any others and I don’t know if any of these had the motor the right way or not.

 

The were to dedicated to the mistake, too late to fix it now, just be quiet and don’t act suspicious, nobody will notice.

 

Funny thing was I never noticed it until some else had pointed it out to me years later.

 

Oh, I just recalled… I DO have a want… apparently there was a production of “Yenko Stinger” which is a late model Corvair. I don’t know which version they did, but the initial ones were white with blue triple stripe (pin-thick-pin).

 

Sometimes it’s a worker who is committed to creating something interesting. Sort of a signature one of a kind. Will anyone notice?

No clue… just remember someone mentioning they FINALLY did one. Everyone thinks f the Yenko Camaro… but he wouldn’t have gotten there if it weren’t for the success of his COPO order of Corvairs and 3 stages. I had a friend who purchased a Stage 3 brand new from him. He raced in the Northeast around Maryland/Pennsylvania.

 

Interesting… the solid hood is “second batch”. The stripe is “original order”.

 

I don’t know enough about them but I remember Dennis Gage talking to Jay Leno about the one he had. Actually two that he had but Jay Leno was explaining a lot about it.
