Might be the manufacturer and date code but I've never seen one written like that.

Thank you! I was looking for the date of manufacturing which I understand is usually preceded by DOT xx/xx.
I bought a pre-owned Tacoma, and even though the tires seemed to have a good amount of tread left on them but the age issue worries me.
I think I may have to opt out to change it.

What is the manufacturer of the tires?

The date code will be somewhere else on the sidewall, in a similar pill shaped indent. It should only be 4 numbers, the first 2 being the week of production, 1-52, and the second 2 being the year.

How do your tires stop on wet roads? My experience is tires with lots of tread but old rubber stop like crap on wet roads.

The date code is typically at the end of the DOT number on the tire and is usually only printed one one side of the tire but the DOT code is on both sides.
In any case no way those tires would be from 2013 on a 2020 models truck.

Side with date code at the end.

Other side with just the DOT codes.

Might be a Cooper Discovery AT3 4S tire?

On my Toyo tires the date stamp is on the white letter side only.

It is probably related to a product design.

Great find, I was thinking the logo had something to do with a company name that started with “N”.

AND it will always have the acronym "DOT" before the numbers .....IF the tires were for use in the USA. If the tires were for Mexico or Canada originally, they may not have "DOT" on them?
