Probably 300+ Open diffs typically rarely break. Toyota's axles are beefy and I've only seen one break in 20 years.

If you lock the diff with sticky tires things change, but its a rarity for tacoma to see big power and traction enhancers.

I've seen loads of CV front axles break though.

I’ve been told the threshold for the stock trans is 400ftlbs of torque was planning on using a Detroit truetrac 4:10 gear on drag radials I’m hoping my setup all in 600hp flywheel

Unfortunately ther does not seem to be much info on drag/street strip setups on the Tacoma sites that I’m aware of going for an lsd “Detroit trutrac” 4:10’s 275/50R17 Drag radial a set of these they worked well on a lightning we put them on definitely solves wheel hop issues https://i0.wp.com/calvertracing.com...s-Low-Pro-Standard-2301-sq-labelled.jpg?ssl=1
