@Red_03Taco The oil pan/diff fitment was my biggest concern as well. I used the upper and lower pan from an early 2UZ Tundra along with its oil pickup tube. That made the fitment around the diff spot on. I was not prepared nor did I have the time to modify the front sump from the 1UZ so I'm not sure what all would be involved there.

However, I did have to max out the height on the CXRacing mounts to get the pan a reasonable distance off the diff. Doing this presents another issue, the rear driver side COP now interferes with the brake booster if/when I try to take the COP off. There is about 3-5mm clearance between the two. I have not addressed that yet but some options are adding a body lift or getting a smaller brake booster. A non-VVTi doesn't have COPs so maybe there would be enough space between the two to not worry.

A body lift would help a few of the fitment issues. COP/brake booster, header flange/steering shaft, and increase catalytic converter/fuel line distance.

I'm just stubborn and made it all work without a body lift.

Awesome, thanks for the info sir. I'm hoping to head out to the local pick and pull soon because they recently got a '99 LS400 in, and it'd be sweet if I could score a 1UZ out of it. They're going rate for V8s with all the accessories, ECU and wiring harness is only $450

    Sir
Not sure what your question is, I suspect its about the non return fuel rails on later VVTI,s if that is the case get a passenger fuel rail from a early gen tundra which has the fuel pressure regulator and the return spigot to the tank. Would also recommend you watch Cartunes NZ on youtube he goes through all of this and how to resolve it.
