    Air fryer success!

I made some fish (Tilapia) which turned out much better than the last time I tried fish in a skillet.

It's my preferred pan with my type of cooktop. It has been difficult to find cookware that works well with it, but cast iron seems to work well. I have an enameled dutch oven that works great on it as well.

I like cooking as well.. :anonymous:

Question for the wood workers here..

I have a pull up bar built in the backyard out of 4x4 posts. The posts are starting to crack/split. What would you recommend to fill the cracks? Or wrap the posts with? I'm trying to prolong the life of the posts since I cemented the crap out of them and really don't want to dig them out :bananadead:

I think it's an induction type, but it has been a PITA to find stuff that works with it. Now the matching convection oven works wonderfully. The speed bake option is friggin' wonderful!

Wrap them or cover them in some Cedar. They'll keep cracking and any filler you use will look like crap after a while.

Really I never cooked before I retired - made food, sure - but never really cooked.

I kind of like cooking, however Mrs Green is difficult to cook for due to her long list of "NO" items:

    beans
    onions
    mushrooms
any tomato other than a smooth wimpy marinara sauce
    rice
    soup
    chili
    spicy things
    peppers
    pancakes/waffles - bread really
    I can go on... :goingcrazy:
