Hi I have a 2006 Tacoma v6 4wd manual transmission and I have swapped a 2013 Tacoma 4cyl rear end and front differential into it. When I installed the front differential and drove the car the 4wd light was blinking. Anyone have any idea what it could be? I don’t have the front driveshaft in yet as I am waiting for u joint to get fixed

Ok I see what I need to check now, but my other question. By putting a 2013 front differential into my 2006 Tacoma should all the electrical by compatible? The connectors fit oerfectly but wondering if the electronics inside maybe don’t link up? If that was the case should I switch the actuator from my original 2006 diff that I took out and put it into the 2013 one I installed?

regardless I’m gonna check first off to see if I damaged any of that when installing it and check that off the list first and then follow all the steps to check off from that link you sent me

Looks all the corresponding pins go to the same locations for both.
