Is this where the stock bolt is supposed to go?

    IMG_2021.jpg

    Hole dia is too small.

edit: Yes. Called and spoke to them. Guess the $2k doesn’t include drilling?

Their directions say to reuse the stock bolt. I was trying to figure out why it wouldn't bolt up.

I called JD fab, and they didn't machine the housing as required, so I had to do it.

From the reservoir design, it seems like you must run the filter. Not sure you can plumb the hoses correctly without the filter in place as the "in" forces fluid down into the filter before it travels into the reservoir. You could conceivably run a line to the bottom of the reservoir and have that function as the inlet, but connections don't seem to be provided in the kit.

There’s a reservoir with and without filter. However it appears they only list one on the website. With filter mounts on the core support. -10 hose is your suction -8 is your return from the rack. Fittings should already be installed in the reservoir.

When ordering there is no stipulation for ordering with filter vs without. Reviewing the directions on their website makes it seem like you have the option with the kit - obviously now I know this isn't the case.

Hose barb fittings were not installed on my reservoir, I received a bag with most of the fittings - I was missing a -8 straight push lock (JF-08-08). Luckily I have a Summit Racing in Fort Worth, but it was another point of frustration with this kit.

I was able to finish the install this evening. Seems like a good product, but the "kit" aspect needs work. If the kit requires the housing to be modified, say that. If the instructions are going to be left vague and minimal, say that. If I have to source additional components to complete the install, say that. I don't mind buying a project but would have been nice to know ahead of time.

I would be upset as well. My pump kit didn’t have the pulley pushed on fully and it ejected my belt and destroyed it instantaneously on startup.

But as a business owner myself, I can say shit does in fact happen. And everybody's shit does in fact stink. Just a matter of how the shit is handled that is important.

I got the p0352 code for at least 4 cylinders my truck has been sitting since last summer and there where no codes no check engine light when I parked it for the winter. How does this happen? If it is the coil packs and not the plugs are high performance coils pack worth the money?

I’m betting a rodent is your cause of issues.

Heard that song many many times. Whenever someone said “we parked it and came back and this happened months later” we always dove into rodent damage first. And 95% of the time. It was.

@vonellis you'd be surprised how much damage they can do in a day or two. I found day old young under the intake of my V8. They weren't there a few days prior.

Shoot I had a rodent eat through and toast a cam position sensor overnight in a span of a few hours being parked at work. It’s truly some bad luck.

20250205_153527.jpgDid some minor work on this 3000 mile rarri last week. Popped the hood and immediately saw rat pee streaks and poop/acorns on the air boxes, showed the owner and he was taken aback.

He lives in a million dollar home lol. Rodents don't care

So if it was a rodent where do I look for the problem ?
Any other suggestions besides a rodent?
