Oh for sure, the at4ws run very wide for a 285, But i had all the extra clearancing done before I got them mounted. At this point I could clear 305s if I wanted to.

Was there a reason you moved from the 255s? I have fn 5 star wheels in a 16x8 -25 and had been looking for pictures of a 255 on that set up. Yours was the first I found and even the style of our wheels are similar. I'm currently on 285s but I want 255s... in theory.

Are you asking me? My yokos were an experiment and I wasn't impressed by them at all. They were so badly cupped in 30k km they were basically garbage. Rotated every 5k km with a spot on alignment didn't matter.

They run half an inch narrower then other 255s and I just couldnt stand how goofy it looked anymore. Looking at my truck from a distance made me cringe

Ah. Gotcha. Well that helps me choose. The Yoko mts were on my list of possible buys. Thank you for the information.

Pretty funny how that works. My current GT Radial AT tires are 1/2" narrower than the AT3Ws I had prior. You wouldn't think that it makes a difference visually but it certainly does.

I was talking about this in another thread it's interesting. 285/75r16 at4ws are half in wider and a bit taller then the same size at3w.

Yeah about the only thing they do great is look cool. Honestly they were better in winter then I expected. But my god do they look goofy as fuck. Rolling resistance is retarded when they cup out.

Im pretty convinced 88.7 percent of people don't need mud terrains, but everyone is free to do what they want.

I currently have Mickey Thompson Baja legend which is considered a RT tire and they've been awesome in every situation. I'll probably stick with the 285s due to having more tires to choose from.
