Swap one of the "bad" coils with one of the two good coils. If the code follows the coil to the cylinder that didn't previously have a code, then it proves that the coil/s are in fact, bad. In which case, replace them with OEM. If the code does not follow the coil to the new cylinder, then you need to start tracing wires until you find the issue.

Coming up on the first maintenance for my Camburg UCAs. I know I need to loosen the crossbolt before greasing. Should I be using Red N Tacky or something else to re-grease the bushings? And the UCA crossbolt torque spec is 100#, even if double-sheared?

    Super lube PTFE.

Need to be careful with poly bushings as the wrong grease will eat the bushings.

Most common mistake I see people make is greasing up poly bushings with a grease that has molybdenum in it. That will certainly eat them

My Son bought a Solo mid travel kit for his Tundra, and iirc the bushings that ship with the kit are not of very good quality, so I suggested we install some Delrin. They have been good on my DK kit with the prothane grease that they recommend. I use Super Lube on the rear poly bushings, and Triflow on the uniballs and heims.

Wish this conversation happened a couple months ago before I put cv-2 on a brand new set of bushings lmao

I'm using the Sweet Mfg hub. It's pretty nice, but it's also weld on. My only gripe with it is that it can go on any direction, so you could put the steering wheel on off-center. However it's a quick way to "fix" your alignment haha.

That's crazy, when I had JD sua and H70HD I had an RTT, fridge, and all my camping gear in the back and it dropped less than two inches. Had to be around 500lb. Still had at least 7" up travel. However when I loaded it with a pallet from work, it was sitting on the bumps big time haha. My friend now has my old front/rear suspension on his truck and runs his tools, rtt, spare and whatever else in the back of his with no trouble. Doesn't run the RTT in the whoops though.

That’s the product of their geometry that I don’t feel inclined to debate again. All I know is this rear has never felt so good. It’s going to be on another truck that is currently JD rear so we shall see what the verdict is.

But my 300cu/ft tank definitely squats it out good.

You saw all the crap that I carried when we were in Moab..still had plenty Bump Travel to go.

Finally getting around to rebuild the First Diff that let go in Moab..this is the one that started to have the noise after we did Kane Creek, not the one that blew up on Metal Masher or whatever that trail was called..

I'm curious about the performance difference. We shot my friends trucks in the whoops last week with the JD +2.25 and SUA and spent a week and a half ripping it around ocotillo and johnson valley. Works really well. We never spent any time tuning the shocks yet either just cuz we were busy with different video projects.

I don't think Ian ever actually rode in Ollies truck. Should have made that happen!

A ride in my truck sold them on it. So we shall see what they have to say on their own. Their truck also has excessive wrap which is the main reason for parting ways. But the ride quality and handling is also undoubtedly better.

Hopefully Ian will have my truck soon for a deep dive tuning session after my new rear end and new rear shocks install.

After a couple days driving with the new power steering pump I can say it makes a hell of a difference in how easy the truck handles, and the install was worth it - but it was a pain in the ass.

Might need to make a thread/post addressing the shortcomings from their instructions using photos from @Airdog and @airkewled
