What if I plate my stock lowers on the bottom and sides then do something like this since I am 2wd and do not have a front diff. It would be pretty simple and seems like this would be pretty rock solid. Remember this is not my truck so I have the stock mounts (still uncracked or warped) and the ones pictured are probably beefy enough not to need bracing like that. I want to try to build something solid without having to pull the motor. Obviously I would try to get them a little more straight and even, just a quick sketch

Did you see my earlier posts? The trail gear mounts now fit 96-04 v6's and Im thinking added to the sketch I have above would be pretty solid. I also dont really mind the bad with the amount of good Ill get from it

Those are the ones I'm planning on going with. Anyone also went with a solid tranny mount?

Ive been reading over on TTORA and asking q's about it and you have to solid mount the tranny too. Otherwise the trans will still move and put alot of stress on the solid motor mounts. Some people are buying mounts but the trans mount is pretty square and easy to just plate/box it in

they are lift spindles so i can get lift up front with out having to put a bunch of preload on the shocks coils, they allow for a lower uniball upgrade (will do that down the line) and are vastly stronger than the weak stock spindles which love to break.

They are much stronger than stock gussetted spindles so you dont have to worry about breaking them and they provide lift without having to crank up your coilovers, making the ride considerably better.

    truck looks rad matt.

Ahh that makes sense. Sort of the same concept for drop spindles but in this case its lifting the truck. Gotta say Matt your rig is pure sex! :D
