I used a different YT video a couple years back to install my OEM Tailgate Lock.

This job takes some patience but wasn't too difficult.

I got only the bracket. Made it super simple to install the camera that came from Trail Grid Pro. I didn't feel like busting the drill and making holes on the grill.

 

Any chance you have a link to the bracket??

EDIT: Is this the one??? Looks like the SR5 grill is missing the mounting holes for the screws... I've emailed them to see what they say....

 

Would’ve been nice to have instructions . The box didn’t come with them.

Upgraded from hooke road to Snailarmor tailgate panel. If anybody wants the hooke road panel they can have it for free just pay shipping.

I'm not familiar with "DB SE" but I've got a few more toys coming in the mail. Will be doing some maintenance and making a few changes over the next couple months. I'll grab some more pictures if the weather ever decides to not be... well, winter I guess.

Edit: I'm dense, long day + recovering from some sinus crud... DiamondBack SE... Going back to sleep now

 

Installed MT64 OME shocks + heavy duty leafs & UCAs. Also got the OTT Mild/Medium tune. Looks & drives how it should now!

Looks nice next to my 03, rides incredible. Just need to throw some bigger tires on when these wear out.

 

ooo, I've been eyeballing that suspension. Got to scrape together a few more pennies before I can pull the trigger though. Did you have to press the bushing for the UCA?

 

Nope, just hit it with a hammer and it popped out! You'll love the way it rides. The biggest pain point was getting the UCA thru bolts out. You have to bend the inner fender liner metal to have clearance to get that long bolt out/in.

OH another note on the UCAs. Mudify customer service said not to grease the joint and it comes pre-filled. Mine did not come pre-greased, so I had to add some.

 

I meant the new UCA's I'm under the impression some of the replacements don't come assembled. And yeah, I'm very familiar with the bolt removal pain. Had to do it with a buddy
