Cruised some places just north of chattanooga. Second to last weekend Haley Road is open for the season then big fork

 

That place looks epic!

 

Does anyone have a dock north of Blairsville on Lake Nottely? I need somewhere to anchor my boat from mid-April to mid-May.

my goal is at least one per month for now.
Depending on the ride, we will have different capacity limits for each. We’ve just done day trips for now but hope to expand to set up rides at offroad parks and overnights.

for the most part these are beginner friendly trips — it’s cool if you don’t have all the gear or experience. We just hope you want to come out to have fun and maybe even learn a little something in the process as you gain experience. But even for those with experience, it’s an opportunity to get out with a group and enjoy yourself!

 

There is a young man in our community with a terminal illness that he has stopped treatment for in order to spend time with his family and enjoying life. He is a bit of a gear head and there are some car events going on that weekend he is in town. Some of the offroad community is meeting up at Iron Mountain Resort in Dahlonega to ride around with him.

If you can come that would be a good show of support! If you want to roll up with some people, the Abducted Off-Road group will hopefully have a few people meeting at a Waffle House in Cumming and ride up together.

One of these days I'll try to join a ride, unfortunately will be in Utah and Florida I think for both of these.

 

I'm heading to camp near Suches and hiking Blood Mtn. on Friday. I will likely ride some forestry roads near Wolf Creek and Duncan Gap. I'm taking the whole family, as the little one has strong enough legs to make the hike.

 

Looks like a rainy Saturday and Sunday based on the weather reports in N Georgia.

 

Yep. That's why we're getting out of there Saturday morning. I'd initially hoped to do a long weekend, but the weather changed our plans.

Greetings! We are less than a week out from the first of these trips. Of course there is a cold snap happening this weekend which sets us up for a frigid weekend. I still plan to camp out!

If we want to camp with us Friday get ready to stay warm — we will build a hot fire!!

Because I anticipate less people willing to tough out the cold and to link up Friday night, we will have space for folks who want to come meet up Saturday morning to join us for our Saturday portion for a little riding.

Hey all - I'm moving to the ATL area (Marietta) and looking to do some wheeling. Any tips on the best trails/ events/ clubs/ etc. in earshot?

@Stormpeacock and abducted offroad host those monthly rides with folks. Not a bad way to connect with people and have some nice day trips
