I've been following this story 1st Ford cut it's contract and then GM. JC looked like one of the biggest auto logistics haulers in the nation and was backed by the Teamesters. This year, a little over a month after Ford pulled out the company is going out of business which is terrible.

What I'm wondering is, what does this mean for both Ford and GM. Are they going to cut production, close plants, and lay off employees or terminate positions?

and IF that's not the case who takes over hauling two of the nations biggest producers of domestic vehicles?

From what it sounds like they’re just going to do business with other parties and there is no shortage of domestic car haulers.

edit: my opinion is coming from marrying into a family of white collar Chrysler employees.

Sounds like the most reasonable outcome.
