Changed my headlights today (Went with Toyota OEM LED's with the conversion harness) on my 2016 TRD Sport. I'm struggling to get the bumper to Fender seam to snap back into place.
Any tips on getting this back together correctly?
    Thank you.

Pull the flare out a bit. Unsnap the bumper cover completely and inspect the plastic tabs...make sure they aren't folded over. Then snap them in starting on the headlight end and work down. Try to keep the flare away from the bumper while doing this. Then put some new 3M tape on the flare and snap it back in place.

Thank you...I'll give it a try. This has been the most frustrating part of the job...

Same problem on the passenger side. I've pulled it apart a bunch of times. Started at the headlight and worked it down. Just won't snap back into place. Not sure what could be causing this.

Damn. I've popped mine out a few times and never had an issue. I had to pull the bumper cover down a little to get the clips to line up but the just snapped back in fairly easy.

You may need to replace the retainers. Have you watched this video?

The retainers appear to be fine. I've watched that video a bunch of times as well as a few others. I gave up last night after struggling with it for several hours. I might have to take it to a body shop and see if they can do anything with it.

If you look at the 16:52 point in the video, there's no black plastic bracket retainer under the seam when she pulls it apart. The 10mm headlight bolt goes straight into metal.
