Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
I can't find it now, but you could do the tie wrap method to compress the springs. You load the suspension up and wrap about a million tie wraps around the spring, then unload the suspension. The tie wraps (supposedly) will hold the spring compressed, allowing you to change the collar height. When done, you re-load the suspension and start cutting tie wraps. Sounds sketchy AF to me, but some claim it works. WMMV.

That would certainly bring it back down.

    This might be the way.

When we first installed the MT64's, then front sat higher than I expected. It seems to have settled close to the previous height. Not gonna lie, I was kinda hoping I'd have an excuse to get a full front bumper. :D

I'm still considering the Coastal front bumper kit.

They have some nice looking high clearance bumpers.
    Good price too!

Why do you need an excuse for a new bumper?
    You're not married.
Just do the right thing and get a bumper.
    Your winch will thank you.:D

Include your wife when deciding which bumper you want.
No bumper is not an option.

I'm waiting to damage my rear bumper some more before I have an excuse for a new one.

    Oh. Those are diy kits?
No wonder it's a good price.

Coastal's Tacoma rear bumper w/out hoops looks tough.

Similar to the C4 w/ plates (@rubbersidedown bumper with side plates instead of double bars)
and the C4 has a spot for the license plate.

Yeah, I considered Coastal's rear bumper, but I ain't got no welding skillz. And with the C4 bumper I considered the plate sides, but went with the double tubes and am real happy with that choice. Flows well with the sliders and I'll probably get a hybrid with tubes and plates for the front (someday).

Had a roommate in college with an old boxy jeep thing. Took my first set of wheels with Boggers from my Ranger and put them on. Didn't go well for the front brake caliper mount. He was unfazed and just used a liberal amount of JB Weld to make it "better". I never rode with him again after that. Ever.

Got the new tubing bender mounted to the floor and working at school today. Kids had fun watching the numerous attempts take place and the inevitable problem solving from the mistakes made. Ordered a 10' stick of 11 ga 2" tubing this afternoon... Mods to the new front bumper inbound.

Ya know…. With a bender like that, you could make a bunch of them crossover pipes like I had welded up for my skid plate. I bet you could figure out how to make it in one piece!

Neither have I. I figured I'd beg someone here for help, if I went that route.

With Snowmageddon scheduled for tomorrow I was able to get new purchase installed early.
New tires for the spring camping trip!
    IMG_4361.jpg

A new set of Hankook Dynapro AT2 Extreme tires. I did get 67,500 miles on the Stock Firestone Destination HTs. Hopefully these are decent in the snow. The Firestone’s sucked!

Now off to the interwebs for new tires and a rear bumper on the 4Runner!
