Just an FYI: Years ago I read an article from the West Virginia DNR that said feeding nothing but corn thru the winter is not good for a deer's digestion system. Don't remember the exact reason, but I think it isn't varied enough??? They suggested planting crops (food plots) and leaving them intact.

Also, artificial feeding congregates deer and makes spreading of diseases easier - CWD anyone.

Honestly don't care what anyone does as long as it is within your local laws, but CWD is spreading to more areas yearly and it isn't easy to stop/slow down.

Yeah im sure. I plan on putting more grass food plot stuff. I used untreated boards except for the boards that sit on the ground.

Do you have a hog problem there. If you do they'll destroy that feeder in no time at all.

Not yet. They are supposedly 1 county away. That might change in a few years, who knows. I did hear someone say they had one processed at the place i take my deer. So kinda interesting.

Screws?? Should've used box joints and taken a roundover bit to the top edge. Those deer are gonna judge your craftmanship and feel undervalued :boink:

    Looks great
