Good morning friends! Hope you all have a wonderful day :hattip:

Left the house this morning, ice on the trees and the power flickering a couple times. Got about 5 miles from home and had to turn around and go a different route. Firetruck at a tree across the road with power lines down. Guess they were waiting on the power company. About 20 minutes from home no more ice cause of the elevation change.

Kids were disappointed cause it said we would be getting 5-8" of snow. Luckily we're on the south side of the storm and got a dusting and the rest is rain or freezing rain.

I'll take 8" of snow over 1/4" of freezing rain any day.

By the time I got to the hotel yesterday my feet were killing me. Picked up some new insoles and now I’m walking on clouds.

Wife just text me and said the power has been off for about an hour. Hopefully it'll come back on soon.

I sent them a message about the neighbors tree being on fire this morning. You can see where the line runs through the 2 green trees. It wasn't a big fire, just where it was touching. Should have been trimmed years ago. If she ain't gonna tell them, I will did :bananadead:

This day and age, if you're about to quit a job, you gotta be prepared to be walked off the job right then or very soon thereafter. Don't expect to get a two week victory trot.

Don't ever burn a bridge though. As much as you want to, politely decline an exit interview and don't run your mouth on the way out. Life's funny like that, you may end up working with or for some of those same people again.
