Streaming FOX TV since I got rid of Cable.

Gonna watch some Football Game.

 

I got rid of cable too but I keep internet though. I replaced cable tv with sling.

 

Roma Violenta (1975). OK site. The Dirty Harry of Rome PD, but this cop is fired from the force for his heavy handed tactics. He soon joins a vigilante group to continue his sense of justice.

The Italian Job (1969). OK site. Entertaining Brit flick with a renown car chase and stunt scenes. Starring a young suave MIchael Caine.

 

"In The Dark" - well acted Brit detective series on Kanopy.

 

"MO" on Netflix. Funny as hell once the story line gets rolling. Timely theme.

 

Tin Star (2017-2020). Prime. A violent sometimes-quirky Brit crime drama about an anti hero family. S1 was the best; S3 had the most quirky scenes. Stars Tim Roth who does a good performance.

 

I didn’t like S2 much but good summary

 

Yes, S2 was a bit odd being set in an ammonite community and the pastor doing, well, un-pastor things. But, through the episodes, I could not wait to see what would happen next. Oh, almost forgot that Christina Hendricks was in S1-S2. Was hoping she’d pop up in Liverpool.

Latest Will Trent - not terrible but love scene with DA a bit much

 

To Live and Die in L.A. (1985). Prime. Very 80’s vibe crime action flick. Memorable car chase and anti hero storyline.

Police Story (1985). Max. Classic Jackie Chan flick.

I recently flew and I watched slingshot with the lesser Affleck and Morpheus Fishburne and I thought it was OK. Generic space movie but reminded me of pulp Science Fiction from the late 70s and early 80s.

I also watched Hot Fuzz again and that movie just keeps getting better with how crappy everything is these days. I remember Simon Pegg back when he was funny.

 

@TacoTime55 I was reading that when the director hired the band to compose the soundtrack, he told them not to write a song with the film title. He thought it would be cheesy. They did anyways and the director liked it enough to add that pre-title sequence for it.

 

Now I'm interested in listening to the Soundtrack!

 

An interesting side note on the car chase scene - where Petersen’s character is driving against traffic on a busy LA freeway - it turns out that in real time he was driving in the correct direction. It was all the other cars that were moving in reverse.

 

Love scene? Lol it was like some light touching and kissing
