    I forgot about contact lenses too. Even worse than having your eyeballs freeze is when your contacts start to fuse themselves to your eye and get hard from the cold.


    I can’t either. Didn’t even leave the house yesterday - didn’t check the mail or check on my trucks. Doubt I’m going anywhere today either.

    And that's exactly what I've done. NOTHING.
    fixed a good brunch. Fed the animals, did dishes, some laundry....... Now just surfing the net with the doggo's. Watching the fireplace, feeling like a bum.

    Not being busy is just something I'm not good at. Yawn. Maybe a nap to pass the time?

    Will hit it hard tomorrow. :)

    The first of our 1.5-3" of free water has started falling from the sky. 52 outside, feels like 52. I can probably see a hill that might slide from my roof, but nothing that should bring us any gloom. I have 4 sandbags that I use to divert the gutter a little so my backyard drain can get to the gutter.

    IF only this rain had come a few weeks ago when the fires were blazing . . .
