What did the passenger side spark plugs tell you? Are all three of them 'clean', i.e. wearing/coloring correctly?

Got them all out finally. They look a bit dirty, but not wet or weirdly colored or anything. My family just left me to go to dinner, so I have no one to watch as I crank it, so I think I will wait until they get home to do that

Have someone tap the starter with a hammer while youre trying to start it.

I prefer this video for spark plug help

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nPEAMNNSLj0

The rest of it (white smoke) does sound like a coolant related issue. The no start could be fuel issues, starter, alternator, maybe a fuse, relay or wiring issue?

I believe the 2018 Tacoma's had a fuel pump recall.

edit: 2018-2019 Tacoma's both had the fuel pump recall

Truck would still crank with a fuel pump issue...

Could it just be the starter? The "thud" that is heard is the gear poping out and engaging the flywheel but the starter motor is not spinning to turn the engine over.

Can you turn the engine over? Get a socket and breaker bar on the crank bolt and give it a couple of turns. I know easier said then done. But I'll tell you if the engine is free

I’ll try it this afternoon if I can. A starter wouldn’t explain why it shut off while idling though I don’t think.

True. But I still would start off with the basics of can the engine spin. Even easier if you still have the plugs out.

Well, she is good and seized. It won't turn over, even with no spark plugs and the serpentine belt pulled off. My former scoutmaster who owns an auto repair shop took a look at it and said it needs a complete rebuild, or more likely a new engine. I am at a loss. I spent more that I wanted on this truck so it would be newer and more reliable. I'm currently staring down the barrel of an $11K+ repair bill that I can afford, if I burn most of my savings.

I don't know what to do. This shit sucks, and to top it all off, Big Two Toyota of Chandler just sent me a legitimate offer of $1 for my truck.

Damn man that sucks! Sorry for you. Just blows my mind how you have a seized motor when from what I read, you didnt do anything that would cause that to happen.
