Nope, that was purely torque applied f/r moving the pinion in and out. Solid shims have taken care of that. I need to find some more, I have another set of the same axles waiting and they will need the same.

That'll work. If I can't find the rest, I'll get those. I used some that sat behind the bearings and moved them in on the worm.

I think my local hobby shop carries that brand, I hear they're good

I didn't realize you were rear facing at the moment!

Take another weight screen shot before and after swapping the motor position to see how much carries over to the front

Everyone going 3S on their crawlers, I'm gonna have to find what fits on the BOA mount since HP didn't have any 3S in stock.

Doesn't hardpark make a battery specifically for the mount?

Pealm Beach gives you not only the weight, but dimensions of each and every one of their batteries.

That sort of spoiled me which is why I won't bother with other batteries, not to mention Andy checks them all out before they ship.

The two I charged/discharged already are nearly identical between cells.

Painted! Pretty happy with the results. Didn't take a picture but I also painted the interior bits. My 1/10 Tacoma is going to be a serious high effort build, just wanted to have fun with this body. Still need to trim the fenders to clear the wheels, paint & weather the wheels, and figure out how I'm going to mount it. I'll have to cut out the bed a little bit to clear the chassis and suspension.

Also not exactly RC but I finished this up yesterday. Swapped wheels over from a HotWheels Lexus GX, painted using a Pyrite Mica touch up pen from Toyota.

Any of y'all wanna buy a new Mini Komodo (2000KV) and new LGRP rear axle with rear link mount?

I don't think I'll use any of it as I'm thinking of getting a Hard Park rear axle for the second build.

    20250213_100613.jpg

Got tons of extra hardware that'll go with.

    20250213_100734.jpg

Otherwise this will just go into the shed
