How did you get this fixed? Mine is stuck on the QR code screen and I can't get the app to recognize the code

okay everyone, here is the solution to the QR code format issue. it's an issue of following the correct steps:

step #1: Download the "619 Config" app to your cellphone
step #2: Load and run this app. When prompted, scan the QR code on the Dometic CFX display
step #3: Open the lid of your Dometic and scan the QR code on the product label under the lid.
step #4: Following the instructions on the app. It should be that simple.

Ever since I switched the lids on my CFX3 (three months ago), the smaller compartment lid hasn't stayed closed particularly well. Recently (last week) it stopped staying closed at all.

It looks to me like the lid is set a bit too far forward so the lid teeth don't catch in the body's groove. Anyone else have this problem? Anyone know of a solution?

Video of the problem - once with working side and then twice with nonworking side (turn on audio to hear it unlatch by itself): https://imgur.com/a/4mo7fk8

Also I added a picture of the lids not being aligned in that link.

Nothing to add to your diagnosis of the door lid problem. Seem correct - realign the door, maybe the screws came loose?

There is recommended venting for the cooling of the refrigerator. Can't positively tell from the video, but it looks like it is too boxed in. See the manual for the spacing requirements.

It's a bit difficult to show, but it's mostly just framed in (to keep it from moving). The sides are open and the back has ~2 inches of clearance.

Does it have enough area to have airflow?

I love asking questions then getting answers that I didn't ask about.

I'd consider adding some venting to the box directly across from where the intake on the CFX3 is. With the box lid closed you are relying on the 2 hand holes for venting and I'm not sure that is efficient enough.

As for your lid my IM55 has a single lid that no longer latches either but gravity seems to keep a decent seal. I also have the OEM cover (that they no longer claim as additional insulation). Mine doesn't "pop up" though so I would definitely contact Dometic about it. I haven't contacted Dometic yet for my latch, but I should.

Perhaps Mr. @Dometic needs to come on and give a basic tutorial on the differences in the CFX3 and the newer CFX2 and CFX5.

I compared the 45 Liter sizes of each and came to few conclusions:
CFX2 is $50 less than the CFX3 and has plastic parts.
CFX5 is $100 more than the CFX3 and has vacuum insulation panels.

    FYI
They do not list CFX3 any longer.
