    Yep! We can own 20-30 round magazines for long guns but they’re SUPPOSED to be registered. In January of 24 Illinois passed a ban on high capacity magazines and many, many guns. If you already had them you can keep them if you register them with the state police. So far they’ve had less than a 5% compliance rate

    Yea I’ve got a friend in NY with the extremely rare concealed carry permit and the things he has to do to stay in compliance is daunting to say the least.

    but the .40 cal is a bigger bullet, and can knock a man off his feet with one shot. Blah, Blah, Blah. I a big fan of 9mm. The guns are lighter to carry, and like you say more lead to throw at em.

    Budget? You can spend up to $5k getting set up in todays market but obviously you can get a good set up for much less.
