Will '06 tundra front diff fit 2nd gen tacoma

Thread says it all. 2006 was still a 1st gen Tundra, right? Front diff should fit, right? '06 Tundra came with 4.30 or 4.88 gear ratios, if what I read is correct. I assume they would also use the same axles as the 2nd gen Tacoma.

This could be a good way to regear on a budget.
