So this was not looking good for me. Then the wife told me her monthly ladies hike is happening on the 22nd. So Im free for the trail run. Only catch is that shes 37 weeks pregnant so I dont know if camping will be in the cards for me. What time will we be done with the trail portion and whats the location of camp Saturday night? Trying to figure out if leaving the house at 6am, running the trail and driving all the way home will be feasible.

Last year we were on the trail around 9 and at camp around 2:30. We will be camping in this general area Saturday night https://goo.gl/maps/sg7Fy6dRKpwArkgf7?g_st=ac

Is there a faster way to get to route 77 from camp? Looks like it could shave off a lot of drive time after the trail.

Not that I'm aware of. Even that route shown is dirt/gravel road all the way to hwy70. But it's was smooth last year, we were really ripping.

That's the way I was looking to exit looking at satellite ot appears to be at least a decent graded dirt road that hopefully can open it up a bit on

Looks like maps calls out that distance as 1.5 hours to the highway around Eden. I think I did it in around 45min, @KingOfTheNorth must've done it in 30

Given the circumstances, worth noting there is no reception at saturdays camp, unless you have a sat phone/maybe starlink?

No that is the only way back to the highway. But like previously said its a wide open flat dirt road. Speedlimit for gps says 25 atleast through town then you can just get after it.

No I was closer to 45 min. Through all the water crossings I got stuck behind 2 trucks with people in the beds that slowed me way down.
Run it...break it....upgrade it....run it again. Finally got some time again saturday to hop back in the garage and work again. Unfortunately I wont be ready for the trip. Money has been tight with me throwing everything at the new company.
