I feel like these days they should be able to plate a clean break like that and have Tomac riding this weekend.

I agree, he’s doing all of the Webb things right now. He’s my bet if Chase throws it away.

I think the promoters need to do something to keep riders healthy. It’s not good for fans to have so many top riders out. They have to do better with track safety both with flaggers/lappers and track conditions. Why not get rid of the LCQs and use that time to fix the track up. Use a provisional system like NASCAR for the top riders to still get in the main event if they have a bad heat race. Show more pre filmed segments like science of Supercross and rider interviews while the track work is happening. Also use less tough blocks on the track. They seem to cause more harm than good.

What’s going on with them? They have top racers in all forms of dirt bike racing yet are failing as a company.

LCQ are how some of the smaller fish can afford to stay in the game. could make or break a guy without LCQ. And you would take some of the title contenders out when they crash or have bike problems. I don't like Nascar style, you cant make in via being on the track then no sir.
Agree on flaggers/lappers and tough blocks.
Its a dangerous sport, there will always be injuries. Tomac and Jett were flukes, ken goes down hard and is fine, hunter goes over on his side and it toast. cant account for everything when you have guys strapped to bouncing missiles flying around the track at different skill levels and speeds

It would still be the same number of riders in the main event they would just take more from each heat race. If you gave everyone in the top 15 two provisionals a season that would cover any heats where they fell or had a mechanical. They could use it and get one of the last get picks. I’m sure they would prefer that over having to race the LCQ.

I wonder if HRC will get a fill in rider. Didn’t even realize until now that they won’t have anyone lined up in the premier class.

It’s too bad Shimoda is hurt. He could’ve ridden a 450 for the east coast races.
Hill would probably do well on a factory bike.

Definitely. He may even do it as a privateer if a couple more top guys get injured.

It would probably be hard for hill to make a switch to honda since he has been on a ktm for the second year. Can't see too many guys trying to jump to the new 25 frame since they are still working out the bugs.

My only counter to that is, the Hill bros ride a ton of different bikes and in different styles throughout the year. But totally hear what you’re saying, it wouldn’t be a fast transition.

I just saw that Chase got fined for not talking to the press. No fines for the guys that ruined Kenny’s night though.
