    When I was a kid, we'd visit my maternal grandparents at their retirement home in Perdido Beach, Alabama.
    Grampa would buy fresh shrimp right off the shrimping boats when the boats came in at dawn.
    Like 10-20 pounds, wrapped in newspaper... cheap.
    We had steamed shrimp once a day while we were there, as I recall.
    (Shrimp is also great fishbait).

    Well, one time my sister really pigged out and had a reaction.
    Her face got red, tongue swelled up and got sore.
    She freaked out.
    Gramma gave her an antihistamine and told her to calm down :p

    To this day, my sister won't eat shrimp, says she's allergic and makes a big effin' deal about it.
    Me, I love 'em :)
