They post on TacomaWorld and they did a great job. PM me if you need more info but it's really the best mod so far on this truck. It's nice to not gear hunt and when accelerating out of a turn it holds its gear and doesn't upshift and lose power. Q does the tuning and he's anice guy.

Anyone found a cover replacement for the ECT button? I’d love a “spicey” or something to that effect.

For the 3rd gen supercharged tune, why compare it to a stock truck instead of a supercharged truck with the Magnuson tune?

Does anyone have a dump of the maggy tune compared to the ott supercharged tune?

Because the Magnuson files are locked, you can’t alter the file and add gearlock to get a proper pull on the dyno with the Magnuson file. So you can’t compare apples to apples.

How do you log to see knock counts? I swear with the winter gas I'm pinging and it seems to get better with 91.

The Toyota control strategy doesn't use "knock counts" like a DSM or similar.

Depending on what vehicle and what software package you're using, there are a few different PIDS you can log to gauge knock activity and fuel quality. If you're our customer, please email info@overlandtailor.com if you're a Direct Sales (DIY) customer, or contact your retailer if you were tuned through our retail network.

Hey Justin thanks for the response. Do you have some of those PIDS to look for? My tuner is in OC and I live down in San Diego. I do have one of those obd Bluetooth dongles. Can you view these pids in some of the common apps like torque?

1/2 a tank of unknown and the other half premium. I'm pretty confident it was a straight 91, given the data I saw during the session.

I'm curious to see the results on the spec'd 87 octane fuel rather than forcing up to 91+.

Simply put, running 91 is not a valid factory baseline - it's already making a forced aftermarket adjustment.
