Buying Front Rotors

    Alpine HU, Apline 6.5 3 way Speakers, Access Cover.
    I got a price of 180.00 for a pair of OEM front rotors from a local dealership in my area. This is a 20% off price because my friend works there. I try to use OEM stuff whenever possible, but is there a good quality Rotor I can get cheaper thats just as good Quality? I seen some Brembo's on ebay, and heard that name talked about on TW, are they good?

    I don't need slotted or drilled rotors, some folks say that the drilled Rotors crack over time, not sure if thats true or not. If anyone has any recommendations let me know. I will be installing myself.

    there is a lot of buzz about powerslot rotors on here. not sure of there cost and they are a slotted rotor which sounds like you dont really want/need, but may be worth checking out

    OEM rotors are always your best bet. Slotted & cross drilled rotors work ok, but can crack over time as you said you had heard before. Also slotted/cross drilled rotors are not refinishable (so I've been told) so if down the road you get a brake pulsation you won't be able to get the rotors resurfaced.

    FWIW, I've got Powerslot rotors on our Sequoia (with Hawk pads) and in my opinion they stop much better than stock. They CAN be turned (resurfaced). I've had them done twice. Mine have not cracked. Anyone know firsthand of a slotted rotor cracking???

    I recently installed ebc sport rotors and green stuff pads. I am stil bedding them, but have noticed a significant difference in stopping power and a better feel on the pedal. I will update if I experience any vibes or problems.
