Anyone interested in buying a turbo 05 prerunner with 1gr that has seen better days? Comes with two set of wheels and a couple cardboard boxes of bolts/cam shafts etc...

 

I do, but can't. Interested in the details though.

 

I just don't have time to work on it anymore. Hydrolocked engine, IC was full of condensation from sitting for over a year and I got it to crank and it ran poorly... Due to sucking in water instead of air. Now it's in 25,000 parts and I found cylinder 6 had a slight crack in the piston, and assuming a bent rod. The truck has ~250k on it. Turbo set up has about 50k. BW s256 turbo, I fabbed up all the hot side from pre bent stainless downstream of some generic stainless shorties. It has deatchwerks fuel pump that's rated for e85 and 650 cc injectors I got from URD with the wiring adapter. Megasquirt3 for a piggy back, that is unfortunately wired in because I didn't want to opt for a harness... If I was completely disconnected from this, ideally I would either have or be looking for a totaled 2nd gen that I could swap stuff to a good frame/body and then have this spare engine to rebuild to hold some decent boost. I'd really like to get $6k which sounds crazy to ask for a truck that doesn't run, but it's not much more than material just for the turbo, plus there is a whole truck worth of parts, most of which work, to go along with it lol.

 

Whats the scoop with the motoiq built engine off YouTube? Turbo? How much is it making?

Motoiq is most likely who I'll be using. Any other shops people have had good luck with?

 

For his level of build, that is the place to go through.

 

For an engine build or? I sent a bunch of stuff to motoiq for wpc treatment, they flipped it super fast, like 1 day turn around.

It's overall height is 1.55" more than the stock intake... but it's not going on a Tacoma either

We will see how much of our T100 drag truck hood can remain with this design
