Anker wasn't one of those coolers, I hope.
Spent 20+ years in printing without losing a finger, knock on wood.
It'd be embarrassing to have one taken out by a cooler. :D

That is the one. It is welded both sides at every joint. Also used 6010 rod on all the joints in the back. That thing is STOUT! Took a lot of messing around to get the lines right (and they are only okay in my OCD eyes opinion) that I also had on the front bumper build. Nature of the beast when using small plates instead of bends on long pieces. I have hung the truck off that bumper more than once...

    So. Many. Stickers.
    Oh it's definitely a beast.

The hope is that it's going to go onto a 2nd gen for wheeling purposes :D

My last job was at a furniture factory, 30 + years ago. The place was known as the finger factory. I was part of the first aid team. One day I was tasked to follow a blood trail and retrieve some finger tips.

I still have all mine too, but my pressman did manage to clip off a fingertip. I'm still trying to figure out how he did that. o_O

Yea, worked in a fish cannery back in the early 80’s. The machine that took the fish apart and stuffed it in a can was called a chink- much later in life I realized that it was a very derogatory name. It took fingers, arms and what ever else it could grab and dismember at will. We were a tougher bunch back then….

It wouldn't take much and probably happened fast....
Around here it's the cutter operators.
For those unfamiliar with guillotine cutters. There's a foot pedal for the clamp to hold the paper and 2 buttons (that need to be pushed with left and right hands) for the blade to drop.

It isn't the blade but a couple have clipped fingers dropping the clamp onto their hands/fingers while getting a lift of paper situated.

Then I went and got paper in the rollers, creating an environment capable of taking fingers off.
    :anonymous:

    still got them.

temporarily lost a shop rag and a bolt, however.

James, I think you need to re-watch the video...the guy was being stalked by a Great White, a pretty big one at that.

Oh, sorry. I thought it was a different video. Another friend just sent me a video of a guy getting swallowed by a whale. I saw the kayak and assumed it was the same video. o_O

Relentless Fab hybrid bumper, 2.5” Dobinsons IMS lift, RCI skids and sliders, block heater. Painted FJ Steelies. Was trying to keep it stock, now slowly building for the Wisconsin trails.
This confirms what I already knew, that fitting a specialty bumper carries risks to both occupants and potentially people outside the truck. I'm with you in that it's not going to change what I am doing but I do acknowledge the additional risks.

The price was too good to pass. Just waiting for a bit better weather to install.

    On the topic of mods.
If anyone watched the high clearance bumper build, I shared, there's a part 3.
He puts some added cross braces to the sides, tire swing and finishes it.
