I see all these tacomas out here (moved out here 8 months ago from TX. Wife dragged me out here, not my choice), but damn these forums kinda dead compared to the Texas ones… Y’all’s used parts marketplace is more lively but the random chit chat is less it seems to me

I’m trying to go the opposite direction.

 

Some of it is we end up starting group texts for trips and what not. Eventually those group texts become BS threads. We end up calling or texting each other directly. Normal people don’t want their phone blowing up at 1:00pm because two guys start drawing winch rigging on Pizza Boxes

 

Been here since May and the weather tbh has not been too bad. I expected worst until this past week. WTF is with this solid week of 30 degree fucking ice. Summer was great, I’m begging for it to be here sooner. Cmon global warming

 

You’re out on Lummi island aren’t you? That’s way cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter as long as the north easter doesn’t blow. If you’re tucked behind the west side of the island it’s probably better.

 

But have you drilled holes in it yet that is the question.

 

I can verify that in past years this thread was very lively with meets and runs. It used to be wrench days, wheeling, camping, or just beer and football. Nothing stopping us from firing it up again.

 

Life happens for all of us and it’s easy to get caught up in our own little bubble. Hopefully this year will allow me to get out for more things than the past year.

 

It's winter so everyone is hibernating. Got to have some balance for the constant redline that is the summer, although I do admit it's becoming a little too balanced...

 

So who has a 4th gen we can start practice cutting on?

 

I have a good garage to do it in, buy one so we can cut it up.
