No pics, although it’s in my fridge. And half eaten. Steve I’m huge trek fan. Have all the original episodes on dvd. Twilight zone and MASH also. It’s below freezing today. Small chance of me doing anything voluntarily on the truck. Tomorrow supposed to be much more tolerable

Swapping out the MAF today fixed my stuttering issue and codes.
Blower motor keeps quitting about the time it warms up and blows hot air. New motor and resistor ordered. Must have gotten wet also. ETA Saturday for motor Sunday for resistor. Tomorrow I will yank and inspect the resistor and motor, and deoxit the harnesses. Good evening fellas, finished my chicken, it was good.

She is a looker. I’m rocking almost the same look. Also dig the shifter knob. A dead head myself. Glad you got this truck running. Been entertaining following along.

Brake line is here boys! Eta Tuesday for the knob. Yeah I won’t put any bumper stickers on my truck especially music related. Not my style. mainly don’t want to get profiled by some Kentucky copper, even though I love country western too. Merle and Waylon are my dudes. Interior however…well I saw that shifter knob and bought it immediately. Love it.
I threw one of those JL audio sealed boxes into my truck years ago that looks like a divider for the back two “seats”, it’s custom made for 1st gen’s. Was not cheap. But sounds like a banger. 10” sub with a matching Jl audio amp. My head unit needs updated. Old pioneer unit that probably doesn’t do the speakers justice. I also replaced the 4 mids with kickers. Blew the front two years ago. Maybe I’ll add that to the list of work before I start my new job in march. New front mids. At the very least I need to open up the passenger side door panel and clean all electronics. Only 50 bucks for new blower motor and resistor. I’m close boys. So close. My help for bleeding the brakes won’t be available till tomorrow, since it’s Valentine’s Day and all. He’s a family man. I’ll probably be able to install it though. I’m gonna do work today.

Well done on getting this far -- so glad it's up and running, and soon with functioning brakes...Nice work!

Considering the post heading, some pennies are due... looks like you owe us a collective $2 :)

I'm willing to waive my 2¢ due for the fun this successful thread has been to follow... Keep at it!

Well, didn’t do my pb blaster due diligence yesterday. The old line needs to soak . Wouldn’t crack loose. Went ahead and did the bleeders too. Gonna hit em every two hours today and try tomorrow. If it still gives me fits I’ll cut it and put a 6 point socket on the turd.
24 dollars for the line wrench . Sheesh
Yeah it’s been a trip, getting close now. I can see the light

yall deserve more than a few Pennie’s…unfortunately I can’t afford to pay up at this time! I can’t say enough how much I love this site and all you folks. I’ve lived my life doing my best not to become attached to things, especially liabilities like vehicles. But this truck has been my favorite vehicle thus far, and I’ve had a few nice ones. My 1976 Chevy Cheyenne takes second place, and none of the others are even worth a mention.
Just made an appointment to get my taxes filed. Hoping I get a little bit of extra bread from Uncle Sam…

saw dream theater a few years ago in Bridgeport Connecticut. I like a bit of everything music wise. Huge suicidal tendencies fan. Saw them in New York City October 2023. It was unreal!
