Here, the road is totally covered.

My stepmother recently bought an AWD XSE model. It's nice inside, but I don't like the huge grill that Toyota is putting on everything now.

 

I think that’s why the TRD (GR) is so visually appealing… because they add the lip kit and wing. Helps break up all the paneling.

I’ve been looking at corollas lately. Without getting into anything, I’ll be going into the office 4-5x a week if I don’t have any events. About 70 miles each way.

I did the math and if I could lease something with (30k miles a year and) 40+ mpg highway it would be cheaper than paying the extra gas with my truck I would pull the roof rack and put the oem tires back on and see if I can get 16-17mpg. I could manage that better than the 12-13mpg I’m getting now with winter gas.

I’ve not gone any deeper into it, just waiting to see how things play out. I might try to go somewhere 40 miles away.

For that reason, I’ve also really decided against a snorkel… I think that would only hurt mpgs.

 

Am I hearing whispers of a Corolla GR??

AWD, 3cyl turbo, 6 speed manual, 28 MPG’s on highway… and best of all, faster lap times around the Nürburgring than the Nissan GTR

 

Unfortunately not. It would be a bare bones Corolla, as cheap as I could get.

Haha oh boy, have been doing 150 rounds trip for more than 6 months and it's killer. Best advice I can give, get a fumoto (since you're gonna be doing an oil change every 6 weeks) and the upside app (some money back back when you fill up). Oh and Libby, I've listened to over 100 books last year

 

Free oil changes at Jones for “life!” Just have to know they’ll try and add shit I don’t need but the service advisors always go out and check the oil level in front of me.

I’ve got lobby too and free downloads from the Maryland public library.

I’ll check out that other app too.
