I think its equal parts a long lasting color and equal parts 'only old guys buy this one and old guys take good care of their cars'

The Taco still looks good after all of these years. I need to wax it to take better care of it. The maroon pearl gets all of the attention.

Yeah you're right. I don't see young people driving them. Cliche for a reason I suppose.
    It's like gold RX 350s.

ya it is generally pretty good for getting around those kinda of trails

also funny if youre wheeling with a group and get to an obstacle that requires you to get out and lock the hubs  “you were in 2wd the whole time????”

    4 run, 2 don't
When it takes longer for your air compressor to fill up than it does to do CAD and CAM for a one off part

I don't want to break your heart but my +2 LT kit will fit everything EXCEPT 3rd gen 4Runners and 1st gen Tacos. HOWEVER I do have some insider information, Solo Motorsports is working on a +2 LT kit for that platform. My business partner who also happens to work at Solo will be the test dummy for the kit.

I locked the hubs as a precaution in some spots. Not that I needed 4x4 but because I was on a very narrow spot with a big drop and I didn't want the ass crab walking on accident.

To be honest my truck is the dirt is almost always in 4lo and I don't care, I like the gearing and instant power that comes from it, regardless of I need it for grip.

I can talk so much about this seeing as I sell and install so many cam eliminators. Are they worth it? Depends on what you do with the truck. I'd say for a vast majority of people the factory cams are fine. If you want to hit any mild offroading, eliminators are a good idea. If you want to hit anything more gnarly like rock crawling or prerunning, cam tabs are a must have imo. Pairing cam tabs and eliminators together gives you one of the strongest setups you can get without doing some serious frame modifications.

So I’m working on the other ujoint, got to where I think I screwed myself last time.
One cup pressed as far in as it can go without going inside the yoke. The other side isn’t out far enough to come out, tried yanking it with vice grips to no avail. So what is the right next move from here?

Would you keep pressing the one cup in even if it goes inside the yoke area, just keep going until the other side pops out?
That’s what I did last time

Ladies and gentlemen, we got him.
    IMG_6793.jpg
Correct I think was to support the joint and hammer it so the presser cup comes out, and then with both of them mostly out just fuck with it a bit til u get one out, then press the joint to get the last one

not sure how that process is going to go on the next two cups being on the driveshaft
