I know people that have killed themselves on dirt bikes too.

 

I see more broken legs out of friends who go riding with their kids… who often break their arms…

Or a deer jumps out in front of you.

My stepdad crashed himself into a canyon wall swerving to not hit a deer and has some nice RLS from it and that was at least 25 years ago.

I vote no on bikes period but that's me.

Don’t get me wrong… I LOVED my cruiser and the open road… but once you contemplate how you’re going to survive a car or incredible rash and damage (several nights in hospital and gravel out your skin for days)… it changes things. $1500 in damage and a stuffed animal named Hada…. For hada accident.

I get it. I have an old friend who does the whole Ducati thing and started racing last year, both her and her husband.

I'd rather off road/rally in a nice safe, possibly heated or conditioned cage

I know. Thats my response to you buying it. You never win in a motorcycle wreck. Never. You can blame it on the person driving the car, but only if you live.
