So, I have both - a 1st get we purchased new in 2002 and a 3rd gen toy, 2019. I do daily drive the '02, comfortable? eh, not bad, but the '19 way more so. The medical portion of my insurance is highest on my '02. The 4 vehicles on our policy are a 2010 Civic, 2017 Forester, 2019 Taco, 2002 Taco. The '02 is the highest medical premium. Do I love my old truck? yeah, gotta say I do, but then I am a sentimental cuss. Do I love the '19? Most certainly - it is a comfortable dream.

The 2UZ-FE is a great engine (in my Sequoia, too)...the timing belt/water pump every 90K/10Y isn't as bad a job as people think.

definitely cheaper than the hoss that @Yacob_D and @KingOfTheNorth helped me with LOL.

Side note - anyone else sign up for the T-Mobile / Starlink promo? I've been with the pink team since I worked there over a decade ago, so I'm hoping I'll get some love and get an opportunity.

I think that may just be a telecomm thing, in general. I'm definitely not crossing my fingers lol

But I will say, Tmo gets it better than most. Free MLB.tv each year, discounted netflix, and 20 cents off the gallon every week is enough to keep me quiet. :spending:

I guess Apache Junction is the only option? This list isn't 100% accurate which is why I was asking here.

    Peach tree’s still dead though.

I keep telling myself I'll come back and do a build thread, but between 8-10hrs at a computer for work, then 2-3 hours of classwork, I just keep deciding I'll tell the story of Jacob climbing a tree on the side of the road to help me get one of those KO2's that we sheered off the hub over a bottle of Buffalo Trace, instead.

Ah, peach trees. 2023 was the year we finally said enough. Stopped watering, getting ready to cut it out. June 2024 - crazy cats bumper crop. Bird netting up (little bastards, eat a full one-I'll share, don't take just one peck on 30). So ours still lives - but this winter? Not expecting much from those sub-250 chill hours this year.

haha, we bought the house in ‘22, and the Summer was BRUTAL.

add in that my green thumb has yellow GA pollen on it, not dust. It was doomed.

Switch pros is in and running, albeit with temporary generic ground and positive wires!
    20250215_195314.jpg

Did the full douche connector setup again, only now it didn't take me anywhere near as long because I sprung for the industrial crimps and crimper this go around. Good heavens it's literally 1/10th the time or less, and ends with a better crimp too.
    20250215_195334.jpg

I still absolutely loathe running wires thru the firewall, seems like my arms and hands always end up nicked and scratched to hell.

Next up is actually adding the lights (lol) and eventually I am gonna get different battery terminals and main wires.
