My first house was built in 1923 and still had the original toilet in it when we bought it in 2000.

    Same style, not my picture.

After 77 years, it had seen better days and was replaced with a cheapy crapper from Home Depot because we were young, poor and inexperienced. Mostly poor.

Well, first scraping done. Got a fair bit out. And now there's a gallon of vinegar soaking. I'll probably scrape again after that. Then maybe hit the mart for something a little stronger and soak it again. Our water is HARD around here.

Those efficiency toilets are fine for women and kiddos, but my manly :poking: need more than 1.28gpf. I really don’t like having to use a coat hanger to chop things up so they will flush… :crapstorm:

The Kohler 1.28 toilets I have flush better than anything that I've had before. They do not clog like the original low flow toilets.

Service call for a "clogged" can.

Well, it wasn't clogged - there was a movement in there so large and hard it wouldn't break up.

No paper -- just this epic absolutely straight tower of turd nestled in the bottom of the bowl and standing several inches proud of the seat - the customer must have hovered when passing it.

This thing was just about the size of a large aerosol can in diameter.

The hallmark of a good manager is the ability to delegate, I told the kid who worked for me "you deal with this, I'm going to pick up that motor at the rebuilder".

I met him at the shop door when I returned, he looked quite pale...

He mumbled "I really hate you right now..." and staggered away.

I've been in that customers position more than once, but I've never stooped to calling someone else to fix it. :poking:

A Bumper Dumper in the woods would have solved that problem. :p

In factories the workers will walk out of a flooding bathroom and say nothing.

LOL The problem with that idea is I'm not going to use a bumper dumper every time I need to go, and you never know when you sit down if it's going to be a Manly edition :crapstorm: or something more manageable...:poking:

Calling the small engine and carb experts!

Haven't ran into this one before.

Finally got enough snow to dig out the big 2 stage blower. It only runs with the choke fully on, no matter how long I ran it. I can hear it missing while running as well.

It's been sitting without fuel for 2 years, bought new about 7 years ago. Is this a case of a plugged up carb and needing some carb cleaner, or is it all in the high/low trim adjusters?
