Looks awesome! Can’t wait to see the fenders and stuff go on. That’s a busy day you had for sure.

Do you have 9" or 13" sides?

Ya it was a busy day for @TjAeCeOpMAmiah and me.

    I went with the 13"

The headache rack came with the pivot arm latch thing drilled and mounted at the 9" height. So there were things that slowed us down for sure.

Did you use 1" gas line to relocate your fill neck?

My driver side fender won't fit without relocating the fill neck.:cookiemonster:

Did some unscientific testing of the 33" Duratrac RT tires:

oh nice. Hard to even tell the difference from the pictures. The extra height will go far. I know there have been some times where I wanted taller side gates.

yeah, had to relocated the filler. I ended up cutting the stock piece that holds the gas cap and just used the larger hose to extend. Not mine but this is how I’ll be finishing mine up. Can see how the stock filler piece is cut and the hoses extended.

try and make it as smooth and unkinked as possible as you’ll get the pump kicking off every half litre. Ask me how I know.

    edit
    Adding on @llamasmurf

so the “new setup” I did which required me to cut the filler neck and that gas cover ended up not working. So it’s been zipped tied as shown in the first picture lol.

Makes distinguished gentlemen like ourselves rethink the "flatbed" as it were, to a more refined bougiee glam cover for our wares. :)

I think there is someone building axles that I know of….im waiting on that too lol.

interesting. Has to be a home made deal. Simple bed rack and then the sewing for the canopy would be the hard part. Assuming a boat awning place could whip that up

    Note to Mother Nature:

either north of us or south of us.
Oh and yes my snow bear plow is not just light duty it's "sight duty"

Fun fact, a 315/70/17 on a 11.5” rim plus the bed fits on the flat bed lol

I shovelled the last two days, fixed my dad’s snow blower and had to help my in-laws get their tractor unstuck. I’m tired. Will say the suburban is making a great winter vehicle, just needs a lift, winch, some bigger tires…..wait no no no. Can’t ruin the wife’s daily.
