Heavy rain and strong t storms with very close by lightning strikes

Also more racing from Daytona the on tv to watch Arca race and the Xfinity race

 

You guys keep posting these food photos and we will never lose weight!
LOL, but I still got below the 190 mark for the first time in 30 years, yesterday (I can't remember actually when it was I weighed less than 200 lbs.).

I am not too far from El Toro (near Fallbrook) and we had our first winter rain this past Thursday-Friday, delivering a whopping 1.4 inches. LOL

Good Morning

Crazy weather in just the past few hours , went from very strong t storms with close by lightning strikes and very gusty winds .Now to very cold temps and strong gusty winds

The loud thunder and strong winds scared both of my cats . I've never seen them so scared before !!!!!


It's now snowing !!!!

Yes, I know, I hear them when they are training with live rounds!
I have been a resident of San Diego County since 1957 (Del Mar, Rancho Santa Fe, near Escondido, Vista, Oceanside, San Marcos, and now near Fallbrook). Only twice I lived elsewhere (1970 in Darwin, Australia & 1995-98 in Fresno, CA)
My reply was to US Marine whose signature read: USMC 1981-84 MCAS El Toro MWSG-37

 

I took some Karate classes in Oceanside... with a massive marine that was a gentle giant with no idea of how powerful he was, to the point that he was dangerous when he was holding back.

The area I live in "WAS" my happy place, it has really changed a lot to the point that it's disgusting anymore!

Went desert camping last weekend with a group of guys from my neighborhood club. Diverse age group of guys, I'm probably the eldest at 71.
One of the guys on my cooking crew happens to be a neighbor a couple of doors down that I've known now for several years.
While we we prepping dinner he gives me this sideways look and says, "so what do you do all day?" Knowing that I am retired.

I tell you what, it's hard to explain just how damn busy I am everyday! I make a list of stuff to do every evening for the following day.
Life just does not get any less complicated and time consuming when you retire. There is always some kind of BS to address, something to fix,
some financial or health issue that takes up time and energy. And there's that damn garage that grows crap like it's got some sort of growing fungus!
