Or maybe the old farmers trick with kerosene?

It's new to the machine, but it's so covered in plastics, I can't even see the carb..

No matter, it's a summer project now to get it running right, but far too cold right now to be digging into it outside with all my other projects going on. I might try to add some fuel treatment to it to see if I can take the easy way out.

Not the first time I've heard it. Just really difficult to come by.

    https://www.pure-gas.org/

For instance, every location 'near' me is a 45 minute drive one-way.

It looks like most hardware stores also carry it by the jug. But $25 for almost 3 litres seems steep. And it's extra hassle to use.

Honestly almost easier to replace the carb every few years. Most carb kits are (currently) less than $30.

No ethanol free gas around me, so it gets what burns.

Really though, I've gotten something like 7 trouble-free years out of it, many times just running it hard and putting it away wet, so it's due for some maintenance anyways.

check the shelters. everyone wants puppies. but i prefer 2+ y/o dogs that are past that training stuff--and the shelters are overrun with older dogs that are less desirable. especially the "pit/mix" category. pits have a horrible reputation, and they have trouble just giving them away many times due to that, but the majority of them are absolute lovers unless specifically trained not to be.

i say that as my "horrifically ferocious" pit cuddles/snores on me...

Definitely, I had 2 Kohler Memoirs at the last house. https://www.kohler.com/en/products/...-28-gpf-chair-height-toilet-3817?skuId=3817-0

The only time they clogged was when a certain guest visited on holidays and I think they were flushing things they weren't supposed to.

I'm reminded daily at this short term lease how pathetic these crappers are. Maybe they figure they're saving water. All I know is I have to foie gras the damn plunger into them on a regular basis. :poking: No need for the gym membership.

Much better words to each of their own preferences
I have one just for the emergency jump start occasions. It was kept in the compartment under the rear seat; since mentioned it here, I took it out and plug in the charger, don’t know how low it was, it’s been 3 hours and still in the state of charging .
Thank @Kilo Charlie for bringing up the topic, that lead me to saving my “emergency service” game plan.:hattip:

I have a shutoff on my snowblower and run it dry after every use, but never drain the tank. The riding mower and push mower usually fire right up after winter hibernation. Well, the rider needs a new battery. I was jumping it off at the end of the season since I didn't want to put a fresh battery in there and then have to take it out to keep it trickle charged.

    Morning folks :pccoffee:

Guess I need to run into town and pick up some storage tubs. Gotta take everything off the shelves in the garage and start ripping into everything. Going to give the garage a little makeover.

My inlaws have a Kohler toilet, it'll take your shorts off if you don't have a good hold on them when you flush

    Yerp.

I'm thinking about what it's gonna cost to add two walls to make the office in the shop and I have most of the studs and electrical boxes. It's the stuff that goes in them and on them that gets ya :spending:

I got plenty of 12/2 and 14/2 left for the electrical, but the insulation and drywall cost is going to get me. Especially when I gotta use the water proof on the lower sections.
