    Definitely windy here but not as windy as predicted . My electrician friend said he will be here at 830 . Switching out the 30 amp generator box ( plug) on the side of house to a 50 amp . That’s the real windy side of the house :oops:

    Yea close to the same warning we got.

    I swear I don't remember getting this much wind in this area when I was a kid. I literally have to have my grills on the back patio strapped down so they don't blow off and crash to the ground o_O

    I know you’re good as you have an electrician, but I always caution people on upsizing electrical connections to VERIFY their wiring is commensurate. There’s a reason 15a, 20a, 30a was chosen typically… it’s the wire rating. Warm that shit up and you’re gonna let the smoke out!

    6 or 8 gauge wire is what’s already running from the plug to the panel . Will definitely swap it out if I’m wrong . We installed everything that’s already there . Stepped up to 50 amp to keep hot tub heater going if power goes out in winter .
