Ariens are from Wisconsin Jim I have one in my garage it should be my last snowblower I finally upgraded to it a couple of months ago. New York is where the snowplow was first invented and used though. Minnesota is home and birthplace of Polaris and Arctic Cat snowmobiles. Maybe I should be worried that I know this about winter and snow equipment LOL. Or should spend more time in the South.

Good morning gang, my area is getting pummeled by cold, high wind this morning. The house has rocked a few times, I noticed a few nail pops in the living ceiling.

The massive snow storm that was forecasted for Wednesday and Thursday seems to be turning towards southern Maryland.

I have a job interview this morning, it's at a local place that does mobility conversions to new minivans. I interviewed there once before about 3 years ago but turned it down for a better option at the time.

Good morning. We’ve been entombed in a layer if ice. Thankfully my oak is holding out just fine. Next door neighbor lost the top of his tree. Haircut day…

Good morning all. We had quite the weekend of weather here. All of Kentucky has been under flood warnings for the last few days, and many, many towns are massively flooded. Our creek on our property was well over it's banks all weekend, and where it goes under our driveway, it completely went over the top of the driveway for several hours. All is back to normal today (at our house, at least), many towns around the State are still flooded.

A look at the creek in the middle part of our yard. The creek is normally aboput 12 - 18" wide, and around 2' deep, you can't see the water unless you get right up to the edge. It flows year round.

Just to the right of the above pic, this is where the 24 - 30" culvert goes under our driveway.

Morning boys. Another round of snow heading my way too. 5” to 15” depending on which forecast you read. They really gotta learn to narrow these things down a bit more.
