Absolutely! my rule is simple though, wheels should provide performance(bead locks, bead grips or those bead locking bolts that icon uses) over looks(shiny colors and styles) cheers!

New shoes! I couldn't find many pictures with Bahia Blue, but I went for it anyway, and I'm happy with how it turned out.

Method 701, 17x8.5, 0 offset. Paired with 285/70/17 Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T.

I think they look pretty good with a black truck!

Anybody have any ideas to make these scratches look better? Maybe next time I’ll get an extra set of steel rims for wheeling…

Buys wheels made for off-roading and is worried about scratches. They are just getting broken in! If it really bothers you, just get some black paint to put on the scratches.

PS. It’s crazy how expensive these wheels have gotten!

I'm looking at these wheels since I see them on sale right now. Can someone confirm that they won't rub with a 265/65/17 tire(Open Country AT3)? I'm on TRD OR stock suspension at the moment.

    Thanks

Which wheel, what offset, but based on the tire size, if you're going with 0 offset, you'll easily fit without rubbing. 265's are stock width and that tire size is nearly the exact same as stock.

Which specific model wheel and offset are you looking at?

I am interested in any bead grip wheel that meets the following criteria but I haven't been able to find it. If anyone knows that something like this exists please share. I called America's Tire and they said the most negative offset that the bead grip wheels come in for Tacoma is -12.

I want 17X9 -38 offset or an offset very close.

When i decided to upgrade my wheels i wanted to go with light at possible so ii picked FN 5 stars that weight under 19 pounds each. They are 16x8 with a -25 offset. My current set up rubs quite a lot and i I've been thinking about going to a zero offset wheel. As ive been looking ive stumbled upon these. But my question is with these wheels weighing (16x8) 27 pounds would it be a decent performance and mpg hit? I was also looking at the method 315 since it weighs less than 24 pounds.
