Back in the day we had a pine uproot from a storm they called it a micro burst. Really doesn't make any noise. But what I learned is when u get close to cutting it up by the trunk it will lift itself back up from root leverage.

 

so the answer to, if a tree falls across the road, does Adam hear it? is no. hehehe

Just got home put some more salt on my driveway and am loving how penn dot fixed my road ;-I

Rough day at the salt mine. Unrealistic work loads, holding positions vacant. My guys venting to me, I know guys I know. God blessed shit show and we are higher education? Sure... Ran numbers again on SERS website this afternoon....

 

PA peeps/wannabes/groundhog haters. We lost power for about 20 hours beginning last night around 6:00pm. Came back on this afternoon. Thank Bob for our whole house generator!

If the tree fell in your yard, it's your tree. And your problem. Strange law. We don't treat things that way around this neighborhood, at least not anymore now that the SOB who used to live behind us kicked the bucket. I know I'm not supposed to talk ill of the dead but that guy was borderline sociopath. Good riddance.

 

My yard is left of that lane, so it's still on the neighbors property. But, we're cool with them so even if it was it would be no problem. Had it have fallen across that lane I probably would have already cut it out of the way. I like those people well enough to do that.

 

Oh we're going through a re-structuring at my work and it's only getting worse. I really don't want to be on the job hunt again...

 

My next search will for a good rocking chair for the front porch...
