I'm over this winter. Not much snow, but it made up for it in ice. Then the thawing and re-frezing so the amount of rock salt they've used has destroyed the front of the bedsides of my truck. Like no paint left on one corner

Going to make an appointment to see what Toyota can do. Completely BS!

 

They can shake yer hand amd tell you its normal. Then you can go home and have some supper.

 

Oh, I fully expect that. I will politely, but firmly ask them to escalate it to Toyota. I do not want to get dinged when I turn it in in a couple years.

This is a total design flaw!

This started well before that with just the street tires. I just replaced them because I kept getting stuck in the snow

 

Really, really skinny tires, really big mud flaps and solid running boards and problem solved.
That is Bull shit, good luck with Toyota!

 

Bad thing is, I already have some decent sized mud flaps installed way before winter.

It won’t fix the damage already done but, you could put a vinyl wrap along the bottom of your truck to keep it from getting worse. I put vinyl along the bottom 15 inches of my truck because of the oversized tires and gravel roads. The wrap has been on my truck for 6 years and still looks pretty good. I also have Gator Back mud flaps.
