    Lots of folks do.

The problem is sizes 2" and under are straight thread, not taper.

They do tighten up but only because of the pipes taper so you don't get a joint as strong and leak resistant as designed.

I ran miles of black iron and fixed miles of crappy work by people before me... :annoyed:

On the electric side, only by sheer luck my previous place of employment never burned to the ground. When somebody says "why is this conduit so hot" you know it is going to be a long day. :(

    That's my job. :fistbump:

The protectors generally have 2 uses:
    1) they protect the threads when pushing a pipe
    2) are used if the pipe is going to be welded, they are the same material as the pipe

Wife said a person from the power company came by yesterday about the neighbors tree I reported, that was on fire with the ice the other day. It should have been trimmed a long time ago, the person said they can't do it now. I understand, lots of storm damage in the state.

They had a person come by last summer doing a look around about a month before the chopper with the saw flew around. You think they would have saw it then, the tree has a massive burnt place all around where it encompasses the power line.

I know, it's the last house at the end of that line. You think they'd want to trim it back to prevent a fire, after all the fires they've had just since we've moved.

I told my wife they may not want to do anything about it but at least they have a record of it being reported now.

Nothing like a 7am dentist appointment so I can't have my morning coffee afterwards because they put fluoride on my teeth.

:pccoffee: <-- What I would be doing

Naw it's off the website and Im convinced something was wacky about the title. I'm reading there are ways to wash a title and fix it without reporting it and I'm thinking that's what's going on. The van was literally 5k less than any other comparable van nationwide and less than some salvaged 24's I could get out of Miami. I hope somebody got a deal but it smelled fishy to me.

Ask for the Coffee flavour fluoride then. Maybe even an expresso shot & don’t forget to raise your hand when it’s enough. :burp:

Bubble gum is second only to Cotton Candy. You never want to spit even.
