2008 Tacoma 2.7. #3 cylinder not firing. 120lbs compression, new plug, new coil. Coil plug in has 12v, 5v, & ground. Had oil when coil removed, replaced it and cover seals. Swap new coil & plug to #2 and 3 is still dead. Going to swap injector tomorrow. Has 290,000 miles. Codes po303,p2237. After it runs a few minutes it feels like the converter is clogged but should that affect #3?

120 psi compression is very low (128 is minimum spec), what about the other cylinders compression?

I think you're probably on to it with the injector.

If the one is clogged (replacing the injector fixes the issue), it would be worth your time to send all of them out for cleaning. The last time I did that on a V8 my "as received" flows ranged from 0% to 90% of spec. Coming back they had them all at 100%.

    #1-120. #2- 150. #3-120 #4-155
I put oil in 1&3 and it jumped to 150lbs. Swapped injectors 2&3 and no difference. #3 is not firing. Hard to believe #1 has the same compression but fires. Thanks
