I MIGHT have figured it out. It looks like I found it under Replace license. I was hoping I wouldn't have to pay for both the permit and new license like i did originally getting my permit. But it's now stuck trying to verify me... can't yet see what it's going to cost or anything. Appreciate you responding. I did see on the site that they had been closed for a bit. It expires next week sometime.

Been away for a while! I was traveling last week and was really missing the motorcycles.

Anyways, I got the clutch put back in the RC 390, put the shift shaft support on, put the bodywork back on, bled the brakes and took it for a spin. It all works!

Shifter feels great, takes way more force to shift but they feel much more positive. Signed up for my first track day of the season now.

Nice! What did you sign up for?

IDK if you saw, but it looks like Aprilia won't be doing any CA Racer Day events. Will probably look to plan for one of VV's events at Laguna. I think you mentioned being interested in that one.

I'm doing Carters at Thunderhill East on Saturday!

Sucks about Aprilia not doing any events here this year but I am definitely looking forward to Laguna, though for $690 that VV charges I'll probably stick with Carters since it's ~$380 with early bird discount (I'd love to support Dylan and VV but I also can't afford $700 just on one track day).

I feel that. After seeing that they cut Laguna, I immediately snagged a spot for COTA. I'm planning on trailering the bike there for the GP weekend then doing the trackday the day after. That's my birthday weekend, so I'm treating it like a little vacation. It's going to take up a significant portion of the trackday budget for the year, so Laguna might have to wait til next year.

Have you seen the new Circuit at Buttonwillow? It's fast, but I bet it would be a blast on your 390!

Man, COTA is so fun. I got a ride along there in my Miata and a few other cars and it was a blast. I'd love to ride it!

The new track at Buttonwillow looks interesting... some of the runoff areas look scary, so not sure I want to try it yet.

And it finally worked... but I will add that it was horribly vague. I checked the box saying renew permit, and when I finally got to payment it only charged me for the $15.00 permit fee. But the document you get doesn't say anything about the endorsement, and says you'll get your new license in 4-6 weeks. But... I didn't pay for a new license, which I had to separately from having the $15.00 permit added in the first place (6 months ago). So confusing, but hey, i have record that I paid the fee, even if I have nothing saying the fee was actually for permit renewal, lol.

Now I just need some better weather so we can get out and continue practicing!

It's been abnormally cold here. Usually we'll get a few days down into the 20s a year, but we had darn near 2 weeks of it with highs around 40. Yesterday I actually saw 54 on my car's thermometer though, and it's in the 50s today, finally. We did get a little snow off and on here in Kent, no more than an inch each time. Took a long time for it to melt off though. Still little piles where people shoveled there driveways and such.

20s not cold for a lot of people, and it's not uncommon here, just uncommon for it to be that way for nearly 2 weeks straight.

There were a couple days it was still cold, but sunny, I contemplated going out. Roads were dry with no ice. But within an hour the weather always seemed to change for the worse... so there went that idea.

I'm a complete idiot. I started pricing the parts to build the wheel. I want it setup to just swap over. After the spokes($80), hub($65), rotor($180), rotor bolts($6), rim($130)........I'm gonna end up with about $460 in a front wheel. I could have ordered the Warp 9 complete wheel for $413    I didn't realize the spokes and rotor was that expensive.

The only thing I like is that the parts with the exception of the rim/rotor(EBC) will be factory Honda stuff. Oh well.......lesson learned..........always check prices before starting shit

I had 8 inches of snow and solid icy driveway up until this past weekend, it finally started raining and warmed up. Kinda sucked ass for awhile tho, we're not used to that here
